Custom-made surfaces and background panels

We explored and studied on the internet on how to create our own custom surfaces and background panels, mainly to be used for our food and product photography, and in the future, potentially a larger background panel for portraits to be hung on the wall.

Got the kids involved in the making of the surface to get random strokes on the board. Then applied a few coats of paint to create a custom textured look. Photos below.
